Also, another questions, 1 large disc is enough for a 1926 transmission? Not need 2 like early transmission?

When I said '' I just opened my transmission, and I have exactly 1 1/8" tall it is all discs together. When I made my measurement from the bottom of the Iug, I have 11/4'' height as you see in the picture. So which measurement is the right one?

Thank you Frank, I already check on Ebay and didn't find anything matching my coils. If you look carefully on my picture, You will see the bottom contact is offset and not in the middle like usual. I don't need coil boxe but at least 2 coils spare.

To avoid the 12 volts be hard on the starter Bendix a friend of me modified the starter to allow to be smooth with the bandix with wires insides. So I do not have to be worry with this. And also a use a cut-off of 12 volts bought at Lang's.

Georges I loved your idea. I will remove the generator and use a block off plate. I rebuilt very nicely my generator so I do not need it at all and my battery it is brand new. I will used the generator for my speedster project.

I found an original way to install or removed make a tire without destroying the rim. I use Baby powder and work really well without mess except powder which could be removed with air compressor ;)

The Ford T world is a more complex world than it seems. I am a fan of the T Model since already 15 years and I learn everyday different component. Thank you for your feedback. I wish someone could share photos how the wires were laid inside the box of coils. :o

All coils contact points fit perfectly with coil box contact either.

But if you don't have the car and you are rebuilding everything from scratch, I highly recommend the tool. I used the tool this week-end when I rebuild the all frame and took me 3 minutes only for installing the rear leaf springs!

As I know, I previoulsy used cable but now I converted to the linkage with rod made by Richard Baughman (916)652-7827 richandbertie@gmail.com He's a fantastic man, he ship all compoments before I paid. I received mine yesterday. Really well done. So, I'm lucky I have an OF carb made by Stan and now, the Stromberg choke. I will install both end of summer when my 1914 engine will be ready. We are lucky having gentlemen dedicated to restoring stuff like that.
