Really !!.. Thank you for offering reasonable and considerate advice to my initial post Tim. I now believe these 1/4” plastic ferrules were meant for refrigerator water and ice dispensers and have achieved a leakless gas line from tank to carburetor using a brass ferrule.

I’ve changed the carburetor and manifold necessitating an additional 7.5” of gas line from the gas shut off valve. Not having additional .25” ferrules, I drove into town for other chores and stopped in a hardware store for a 23 cent brass ferrule. They were out !! So I bought a white plastic ferrule...

Do you specifically need a ‘27 touring ? If so, I ain’t got no ‘27 touring but I hope this helps. The choke wire fastens to a spring loaded lever inboard of the intake throat. See the outboard choke lever on the same shaft with nothing fastened for hand crank choking.

I’ve advertised very moderately here on the MTFCA Classifieds and every response I’ve received were bonafide interested T hobbiests. However, every respondent of my FS ads on the HCCA website are scammers with every method of operation as mentioned above.

I’d even go much earlier than ‘13. They’re squared front fenders but have the correct 4 rivet support bracket. ‘13 and ‘14 are more rounded fronts. These are examples of early and late ‘14 fenders

I’m with Tim Wren et al on this one. A friend used an unvented shipping container to store his wood cab TT truck in south central Texas. On our 110* days it has to be 150* inside that steel box. Anyway the wood spokes and cab became ultra brittle and the paint on the fenders/hood curled up.
