Extra gas. Some kind of BIG squeezer to unseat the tire, if you are going to un-mount the tire. Split screw driver to start blade screws, (bendix cover). Throw in a coat and or a blanket, getting cold is always uncomfortable!

Re: Is it ok this brake shoe and rear end?

Guys, I have done it several times. Not going to hurt anything. It is just cos-medic in many cases , but can easily be fixed without heat. In his case it has the brake cam out of line.

Donnie, I absolutely loved your build, I know that it takes time for such projects, could you take time to post the build on the new forum from start to finish? I'm sure It will be well received.

Re: Model T Special build.

Mike should understand the need. Hopfull things will turn around. In 19, I only had about 150 Miles on the engine and most of that was on the tour before we raced. Ron Kelly was the one that made it happen in such a short time because he understood the need. Litterly put the car together on Monday a...

Re: 100 mph Model T Fords ?

100 mph in these old cars had to be scary, I don't like driving mine over 65,even though it is probably capable of the 100 mph club. Frank was truly an amazing man.

Kile you can easily re-drill the wheels to the model t wood hubs. Use the standard hub plate on the out-side.

Re: Race Car Project

I recently took my steering sector apart for inspection and I always wanted to seal it up better so I could fill it with grease. Here are a few photos of how it is built using some miter gears. The housing is made from some forged engine frame mounts, they looked the part. The shaft was cut and the...

Re: Change oil in the rearend?

I think the biggest advantage of having a drain plug is being able to check how healthy the rear end is and also being able to add a magnetic plug.
