It is interesting to see how much smaller in stature people were back then. I used to wonder if our cars have shrunk in the last hundred years. In old pictures there are always a lot of people in the cars and made the cars look so much larger. I left the town and the house where I grew up when I was...

This carbide generator came with the 1912 model T I bought about 5 years ago. It is not correct, in fact far from it. Looks home made but cute with the Ford logo. There is no guts in it, but I have a spare screen if needed, but it is for show only, not functioning. Do you think it would be alright t...

I have been to Ushuaia several times, great place. They love to camp in the forests near by in small pup tents in the summer, but there is always two inches of water almost everywhere. There are huge glaciers nearby and that is where all the ships and helicopters start out to go to the South Pole. T...

In the 1970’s I bought houses that were moved out of the way of new freeways being built. There were plenty of empty lots or lots with just a chicken coop on it. The house moving companies loved me. Some of the houses I bought sometimes traveled several nights and as far as one hundred miles. Los An...

Rainer, if you apply some petroleum jelly or some cooking oil on the hood and the new leather it will possibly squeez in. Only use a rubber hammer when working on the hood. Most hoods on the model T’s are somewhat bent up like yours and if it doesn’t bother you, drive it the way it is, there isn’t e...

The whole car looks like things line up pretty good, so, put on the splash aprons and consider a wood pickup bed instead of a turtledeck, paint it and enjoy what you have. I painted mine with a brush and a small short haired roller, or have it painted. Most onlookers haven’t the foggiest idea what y...
