Re: oil for rear end?
While I'm not a big fan of other synthetics I have been using this in my Differential as well as my Warford and other antique gear boxes and rear ends. It has worked well for 20 years or so and I have not discovered any ill effects. You want to have good seals. It likes to creep out but the new styl...

Re: Yet another puzzle
That's very possible Rich. Buick did offer the Model 45, 118" W.B. and the Model 49, 124" W. B. Both touring cars. I would think the distance between doors would be a noticeable difference. It seems 1922 was much the same but 1923 the fenders were crowned and they had drum headlights. Perhaps more l...

It's not like the Whites I have seen but who knows. Studebaker did that but had the valves on the other side. Packards were similar but I can't find a good photo of one that matches.
I'll bet Charley Shaver could have told us.

I like Hupmobiles too Perry. Here is where I see the similarities to the Buick. The bead in the fender and no lip, the curve of the radiator shell and the hubcap. It even has the same bumper. I don't see a drum headlight or slanted louvers. I'm always open to other suggestions. BuickHupp.jpg Thanks ...

Vladimar Philbin tried to market stone hinges under the trade name "Rock and Roll". They were a hard sell and received few quarries about them. The one's KD played with were finely ground.

Although some of the distinguishing features are hidden I think it may be a 1921 or so Buick like this one.

It truly was an ambition of Kalamity Dick's to visit all the major henges before his "Circular Bronze Age Structure" voucher expired. Whether that is in fact KD in the photo is a good project for Heinrich to assign. I don't see his spectacles and he loathed light colored trousers as they soiled with...

Wonderful info and photos Frank. I can't add much. This is a cover as it was removed when replaced with a New York Switch. It lived untouched in the NY Sw. box for years. We don't see enough of the parts just as they were when they were new.
