Re: Blasting Media for Coupe Body

Soda blasted parts must be thoroughly washed with lacquer thinner or a mild acid, or your primer/ paint will not stick.

They took away Elmer's gun, so I don't think it's Wabbit season.

Re: PayPal

As government gets bigger, and controls more of our lives, we may in this hobby have to do more bartering & trading. Government is working hard to make us become a cashless society. John, That was the ticket ! I found a booklet by that title on T- Bay, dated 1934. So this must be a early V8 tool.

Re: spark plug tool

The gauge is.025, the tool itself says Champion on it. Not sure if these were made for Ford, OR sold through Ford dealers, OR given away when you bought Champions at a Ford dealer.

Found a little info on Buckeye jack manufacturing. Founded in 1904 in Louisville OH. Moved to Alliance OH in early 1910. Struggled through the depression, closed in 1934. This may help to date the early jacks with Louisville on them.

Re: Regarding Ford Jacks Supplied with Cars

Just found a Buckeye jack and have two items of interest. One is that while cleaning it up, I found traces of silver paint.
