I have no doubt that the low geared Jeffery and Nash Quad four-wheel-drive and four-wheel-steer truck can back up and plow thru that drift. I've heard great stories about the YPC White trucks bucking such drifts back in the day. Much of it is the driver.
Great photo.

I presume you are using a New Day or other brush type timer. Thus, no oil wanted.
With roller timers, I always wondered about the necessity of sealing out engine oil and then oiling it through the flip top oiler. That seemed to be an exercise in futility.

Thanks guys. I was pleased to use the low bushing to build up the fan pulley. The Packard over the edge after possibly hitting the early T with accessory cowl is interesting. We talked about those cowls here:

There were over 250 cars (maybe 300) at the show despite the clouds. The ones I showed were the only early cars except for several Model As. This was exceptional. Perhaps the weather kept folks from doing other things and came out to the show. There were lots of later cars, trucks and hot rods. We o...

I thought this '25 Dodge was interesting with the running board being "stepped through". That doesn't happen on a T. From the AACA site.

We did what we could with what we had in those days. I think we are better for it. We became resourceful and learned as we went. Much of that benefitted me later in life.
Much has changed since then and some for the better but not all.
Thanks for the pictures and taking me back.

By making a 5/16" longer plunger, the float can be "tickled", or pressed down to let more gas in the air chamber. I'm still curious why it was necessary. The slight leak persisted with various changes in float level. I will say that it was a good suggestion to shim the float rather than bend the cas...
