The car does not need to be pulled it has been run in at my place, I see a ground wire on the generator, better remove that since power is going into it from the other side, the ground wire is there only to short the generator if power is not supplied to it. Take a hose clamp and tighten old shell, fill it with babbitt, set it in the lathe and bore to size, it is no rocket science on them.

The side pans are great for holding tools when wrenching on them, on a hot summer day there is more heat inside the car with them on it, I very seldom see a driving, touring car with them on unless they run winter time with them.

Tim, I have seen A, R, B's before serial numbers? figured they where for commercial use engines that got installed into cars, have to remember oil pump jacks and combines had them in them.

A distributer is a fast fix, but if you lose a condensor your dead in the water, if you lose a coil you can limp home on three. if you are pulling hills with a heavy car the magnets give you some more climbing ability.

I have ran this head for years on my Fordor, I like the combustion chamber and works really well for pulling hills in a heavy car, looks stock except no wells!

I had a 25 Coupe I was rebuilding, after working on several have decided it was not for me, picked up a 21 and it has more room for us taller people.I do enjoy the closed cars for tours on them cold or rainy days.

There is short and long fourth mains, if you use the early driven plates you need to use the short fourth main.

Those are rare items these days, I bought one as a wall hanger years ago then I played with it and found out how well it really worked, have been amazed how well KR Wilson stuff was designed to work!

I have used valve seats to repair exhaust ports, JB does wonders on gasket area's. I have had some cast welded that looked like Frankenstine when they came back but some JB and bondo you can dress the outsides up.

Allen, one in is bolted to the lathe head, made a plate, other end has machined part that goes in the bearing surface to keep it straight but it made on a center to spin as heating.

Andrew, are the rivets loose on the housing you are working on? if not why not setup in lathe heat the tubes to straighten them, use center to keep small end straight, as it cools keep adjusting center in to keep straight.

I have found through the years for some reason the 26-7 blocks have more crack issues from exhaust valve into cylinders and in lifter galley between 2 and three cylinders , was it core change, different material, or they just ran them more? my scrap pile out in front of my barn has more 26-7 block l...

snug, get all the weight of car and body then check them, they will draw up more then, do not have to he man them they are just there to hold all in place.

Jeff, I just pulled the innards out of a 26 rear axle that I had rebuilt ten years ago and never used it, went to a ruckstel last week so I needed one half of the rear axle and driveshaft, I do have plenty of cases and an extra driveshaft.

I have a late 12 head that has the Made in USA under the Ford script imbedded in the head instead of protruding out like later one all had, some one tried fixing a small crack on top with small thread in plugs but still leaks there, I think they used steel plugs instead of cast.

Gaslight a few years ago had some KR wilson stuff in a cabinet in the back one of them where in there, have no ideal if it is still there, Bob has been building racecars in the back now so it might of got moved, worth a call to Nick?

I saw a set of fiberglass ones the other day on a T looked really good but when the car ran the headlights sure shook, I think the fender brace would of really helped.

That is a good price, Ole Whitey would of knocked the dents out sanded then lightly and buffed the crap out of them and turned around and tripled his money on them! Sure miss that ole boy!

You would be much happier just changing it out with regular intake and exhaust, the NH is so worry free, I have played with many vaporizers with success but the other intake will out perform and less hassle and easy to replace, the throttle arm is already drilled on the steering column, all you have...
