I’d have to agree %100 with you on the original mounting spot. Even with modern roads, it would take a good beating!

Re: Repair of a Stewart & Clark clock
It’s not at all complicated , Richard. If I can , ANYBODY can. Now if you tend to start wrenching when you get inside things, that’s another issue. My bigger issue. from past experience is sending things off and never seeing them again. Most small clock repair people aren’t spring chickens.

Mrs Becker’s passing
For many decades , Larry and Bonnie Becker supplied model T enthusiasts with alternators for the model Ts and other old auto electrical parts. Perhaps you remember , Bonnie never went to a swap meet without her Pet Pink Pig, made from model t parts. She has gone to her reward, joining Larry in that ...

I cannot speak for cousin Tim, but he is real busy with bigger clock work, and really doubt he would be interested. I’m in no way shape or form a clock repairman , but do love them and never pass on a pretty one. I’ve had a real good success rate with the following; I’ve always had good luck on just...

SOLD. Here is a nice pile of genuuu-ine FoMoCo starter drive parts. Take a good look, some lightly used, some real NOS. Re: Ruxstell/Planator axle
John, I could be wrong as I am several times a day, but pretty sure planators were just underdrive like a ruckstell. The early ( Starr Planator) ones didn’t have the shift detent, which is not a big deal if you have an original shifter for them. The later ones (jumbo planator) have kind of a double ...

Original Spokes for two wheels
These are from a very nice solid pair of 21” wheels. They were very nice and tight and also very tight into the steel felloe. That original 100 year old hickory grain is hard to match. Spokes are all marked in order that they came out of the rim. Scrape them down and assemble two wheels at a nice sa...
