I have no use for Model A's. I have no interest in the Improved T's either. What makes T's interesting to me is the purity in which Henry Ford tossed his ultra-frugality at the 09-25 cars, and the look they have as a result. When nickel trim and smoother, "styled" cowls and fenders came into the mix...

a whole bunch of exactly what we are talking about. Easy-peasy !

Pa's whirligig ran on whale oil. He had to fly the thing to Canada to get fuel.
It started lots of fires whenever he got close to the ground. It used an old Hudson
six, but I was too young to have paid attention to how it was fed.

Re: Is the Model T considered a compact/sub car?

I consider my TT to fall into the catagory of "Winning Vehicle", as it is a winner, no matter which way I slice it. However, up until today, I have seen no parking spaces specially designated for such vehicles. Were I to back it into something, serious compaction would result. Perhaps a special desi...

While I cannot say where it will ALL end, this is where the standard gauge ends and the
world beyond is solely narrow gauge. A magic place, if there ever was one.

Doesn't this come down to a philosophical question of "What is restoration ?" Those marks and dings appear on a number of old car parts, T's included. As a normally occurring thing, why would you erase part of the historical narrative, by "buffing those out", rather than consider preserving them as ...

This isn't in any way related to the discussion about the comic strips or the confabulator levers and injector fires. But it does have to do with KD's Snomater. Karl Kasual happened to be in the shop as the Snomater was coming together and made a comment, comparing it's smoothness of lines to a pile...

Asbestos is no laughing matter. As a contractor, I deal with it often enough. Johns-Manville has been a jobber/distributor for over 100 years. While I cannot speak

them under their name. J-M sold everything from speedos to roofing to powerline insulators.

For those planning on using them, with the sequin sequence, it is critical that annunciation/pronunciation be: Five, nine, dub-yuh, ekks, with a 4/19 cadence, pausing on the 14th interval, with a rolled transition from "yuh" into "ekks". None of the transvertors will activate with improper annunciat...

Any thoughts from the audience on why Steve would only get 14-16 mpg ? That seems
like 30-50% less than typical. My TT, often hauling considerable weight loads, averages
19-22 mpg. That light little roadster oughta scoot along netter than a heavy old TT,
shouldn't it ?
