After finally getting the engine to run in a friend's newly-purchased '26 T, it was noted that the ammeter did not register a charge even when the engine was revved up. Another question for the team, when recharging the magnets on a magneto in the car, do you have to touch each magnet individually or just at the mag post? i’m working on a 1925. I have the hogs head off to inspect the coil rings. Everything looks good but the mags are weak. I was planning on doing the flash charge with a DC welder.

Asking for a friend If a fellow was to find an all original 13 runabout actual barn find what would you think the body would be worth? A friend of mine passed away a week or so ago and at the funeral his brother asked if I could possibly remove a 17 chassis that was in the back yard. He is needing to get the property cleaned up soon. I hadn't looked at it closely in years but I said that I would get it. 20 years ago that chassis was pretty nice with a newly rebuilt engine....

I do have a 1919 engine in it with an electric starter but I just want to hook it up right so I don't mess anything...
