Shudders when low pedal is depressed when starting out at proper spark and throttle lever positions.
Lunges and wavers at high gear, smooths out only at full throttle at proper spark lever position. Full throttle too fast and risky for certain road conditions.

I am starting a pie wagon project and plan to have interior lighting which will recuire 12 volt system. I have read the posts suggesting that running 12 volts to the starter is hard on the flywheel and ring gear. My question can I have my 6 volt starter converted to 12 volts and if so would the converted starter be as hard on the fly wheel?

Curious whether any early 1909 Tourings were detailed with Black accents the way the Red Touring was. This would be seen on the fender and body welts, as well as the door frames. Hard to tell from some original photos where even the red body pin stripes are difficult to see.

I have a frame that appears to be a '25 ( only 2 rivets on on hand brake pawl ) It has a serial number C726397, does the C indicate Canadian? Also the front crossmember is located on top of the side rail instead of above, and the side rail is stepped to allow for this. Can anybody shed some light on this ?

Any thoughts on whether a 2021 Ohio Jamboree of T's will take place???

Yes it look's real easy on the several you-hou videos, the muscles in the middle of my back are still sore and I did this monday. That was probably the hardest thing I had to do to this T. After the cover was on it was real fun to line up all those bolt holes.

Lowering the cover and trying to keep the darned clutch release ring from rolling...

Anyone have a Seng Steering Wheel that could let me know how to get the horn ring working? I'm pretty sure I have a missing part that is right below the wheel that contacts the horn ring.. There has to be a sliding part that contacts the ring on the wheel.

23 Roadster..Does the coil box lid secure the coils in any way? I don't have a lid for mine, and had a coil loose connection at the bottom contact. That made me wonder if a lid would have prevented this from happening. That being said, does anyone have a slant style coil box lid for a 23 roadster? Thanks..Tommy.

I am planning to prep and paint my car soon. My original paint plan was Windsor maroon. does anyone here have pictures of model ts with that color? also, i am going to paint the fenders and running boards black.

When I took these apart to get re-lined seemed the first pictured narrow band for reverse had the two straight slot ears and the second narrow band for slow speed had the two rivets. Does it matter which narrow band goes on the related drums, any input would be great.

My low speed jet is loose and rattles off set point. I was tired after running new engine in today in the shop. Collar seems to be loose that the jet sets in. I will take it apart tomorrow but figured I would ask tonight. High speed is fine. How is resistance held against the screw?

The water pumps were built into the radiator similar to the first 2500 T's, but ran off a gear mounted on the flywheel which is on the front of the engine. I took a pair of 14 windshield hinges apart to clean them up and found what looks like brass plating on the screws and nuts that hold hinges together. Spring inside the hinges looks to have copper plating on it. Has anyone ever seen that? Dan

Model Ts from clubs are on a tour to the Joshua Tree area in Southern Cal. During the day, by the way the weather was just perfect, we saw several wrecked cars but no Model Ts. The only Ts were the seven cars on the tour.
