Where can I buy a few sets of copper manifold crush rings in bulk. I'd like about three sets. I see the vendors sell the rings and glands in sets but I want the copper rings only. I am not interested in the type that are shaped to enter the manifold and block. Just the ordinary copper rings.

In my post on a new coil tester @jab35 enquired about an electronic speedometer and/or rev counter for the model T.

This looks like a reasonably well done “kit” speedster with a number of good parts. While the Ruckstell axle is a valuable feature, I couldn’t see any sign of auxiliary brakes, like Rocky Mountains or A-Cs. That should be straightened out before any regular driving.
Because speedsters are not factory cars, their pricing is pretty variable....

More years ago than I care to admit, we bought the place next door as both a financial investment (rent the upstairs and basement suite) and a lifestyle investment (nice garage in the back yard for you know who). The rental happened soon enough but I never got around the building the playhouse out back until last fall. We excavated for the...

I am more than pleased with the 21 Lester's I just put on my car. The tread is siped for better traction and overall gives a more comfortable ride.

Using the original generator in a 12v car?

Greetings.
My '23 Model T was converted by the previous owner to 12 volts, with a single coil and distributor. It still has the stock Generator and cutout, which he says he never got the chance to regulate so as to charge sufficiently for 12 volts. I see that Langs and several others carry a replacement cutout specially designed for a 12 volt...

Suggest looking at the Fun Projects regulator.

In the past I have lifted the hogs head in different areas just enough to slide in tiny wooden wedges, apply the gasket sealant, then pull the wedges out and bolt back up.

I would like to convert my 1921 Kerosene tail light to electric without butchering the burner. Are there any kits available?
Last post
I just did the 25 T pickup I am working on, used the fuel bowl to hold the bulb socket with the help of some hot glue. I also made the tail light function as a brake light with use of the Bendix cover style switch. Dual contact 1157 bulb works good but will try to find a LED bulb to replace it.

I have a strange issue with my rocky mountain brakes. I had them on the car for many years, and late last year they started to be hard to stop. The compression test results sound more like an engine requiring a valve job, than one that was recently finished. Lash and/or guides too tight need to be confirmed or denied.

Before I fight myself or damage something...
Does the dummy bearings/sleeves just pop out after removing the lock screw where the grease cup would be ? Or will I need to rig it up in my press ?
I need to replace the axle seals that are behind them.
I have a slide hammer with a bearing removal attachment for the bearings, which should do the trick....

My buddy had the time of his life keeping the rig from jack kniving ...

As late as the 1940's, several hardware businesses in Australia were advertising T parts. Below a Chandler's Catalogue from (IIRC 1943)
In those days $1 US was equal to Australian five shillings (5s or 5/-) On that basis a T head gasket was 2/6 i.e half of 5/- so US 50 cents or two for $1

Does anyone know if the Vaporizer outlet tube gasket (Ford # 6270) is available anywhere or has anybody used anything else as a substitute? There is none on mine and it seems to work ok but thought maybe I should put one on. Maybe a proper size o-ring would work ok?

Honestly, if you have a vaporizor that is working just fine , I would be inclined to leave it alone.
