Hello, I am looking for some brass, oval head, slotted machine screws for the side lamp brackets on my 1912 Flanders 20. The thread size is 5/16-18 and minimum length is 1-1/4 inch. I can cut down longer ones if necessary. I am looking for at least four, but will take more if you have them.

$5 bucks to you and I'll mail it in a padded envelope. (That's the cheapest way, as a flat rate box will cost $9 dollars).

Just an excellent hood. Mine original had bumps, bruises and a couple creases, so I’ve upgraded twice now, seeking a better one. This one is a dandy. No tears at the hinges, no creases, I’m thinking...

I need to replace the spindle and tie rod bushings on my 14. All the necessary tools really add up for the limited use they'll see. Posting to see what's available used or if anyone is interested in renting. I will need the drivers and reamers for both. Let me know. Thanks!

Or do like I do and run them down to your local engine/machine shop. I really am glad that's the route I decided. I just had them re-bush that God-awful steering bracket that 99% of the Ts need to have done. It's not a job for the average guy, just like the crank handle bushing. Now my steering on the Fordor is totally perfect. Just had them do...

1917-1926 Schrader Wood Wheel Metal Stem Dust Covers
by
henryford2 » Mon May 31, 2021 8:09 am
Absolutely NOT very knowledgeable about these. I'm using the vendors catalogs to identify these by shape not size. Set of 4, each 2 1/2 tall, they have the leather washer present in three (one missing). Nickel plated with the right patina that makes me believe they are original rather than reproductions ? I've priced them below the catalog prices...

To reduce shipping cost, I would remove the glass, since it’s not safety glass. if the buyer is OK with that.

Original Model T Engine Stand. Saved decades ago by Henry Austin Clark Jr. and was at the Long Island Automotive Museum until he passed. From there it came to me and I have had it since. I've never seen one like it and if Clark saved it, then it was certainly a rare piece and worth saving.
If you have any questions let me know!

I believe there is both rust and wear damage. The wear damage is typically right across some of the teeth. I see far more one piece gears worn like this, likely to be a product of the load being applied to the narrower gear teeth on one piece gears. I much prefer to use the three piece gears with the full width teeth, providing they have not run...

So the Vinton tip is not sufficient?
The issue is the hole in the seat body. Its much smaller than original & flows less fuel which causes a leaner/run out of fuel @ higher demand situation.
