Looks like a nice one! However, I think it is the earlier five panel 1919 to 1921 body. 1921 used both the earlier and later styles, rear tub and tack strips being the major differences.

Here is an interesting group of early threaded hubcaps. These are mostly for Non-Model Ts but I know there are a lot of Brand X Brass Car collectors here on the MTFCA Forum.

There are 21 total. 18 are brass, three are aluminum. Other than the one marked Hudson, the rest are unmarked-maybe these were aftermarket replacements from back in the day??...

I have been rebuilding some Bendix drives for T's. Most have loose/detached balance rings and missing collar pin and spring sets. To fit the pin and spring, the hardened steel bearing sleeve has to be removed. That has me pondering if there is a certain orientation for the drive gear/balance ring on the drive thread.

I found that bronzing the counterweight on required a deal of heat. I did one, then resorted to silver solder. By using a Dremel tool to make bare contacts, the silver solder flowed much better, made a neater job and required much less heat.

Timing the gear on the threads does not seem to make any difference. One pin does ride a little off centre...

For sale is a 1921 Model T body disassembled. Body panels are all rustless with most of the wood, though only good for patterns. The doors are incredibly solid with very nice wood. No fenders, running boards, or hood, just the main body. Will easily fit into a pickup. Located in Omaha, Ne.
