Our Farm around 1925

Post by Apis Mellifera » Tue May 24, 2022 11:29 am

Pictured is my Great-grandparents and children. The smallest child is my Grandfather. We believe the T is a 1915 or 1916. It eventually became farm equipment and in the 50s my Dad recalls scrounging the headlight lenses from the pile once it was completely used up. Great Grandma saw his treasure and reclaimed the glass and used them as flower pot saucers. The farm has remained in the family and I am the current owner. My wife and I took a "100 years later" photo with our children.

Here's a closeup of the Model T if anyone can identify the year precisely:

Wonderful pictures! So glad the farm has stayed with your family.

The front fenders appear to be flat instead of crowned, and the headlight rims appear to be black, so I would say 1916 is likely.

Nice pictures! This is really impressive, after so much time the house has not changed much, and nothing seems to have changed. I look at these photos and it seems that this is a journey through time.

I also have an astrology site, mostly dedicated to the zodiac signs compatibility. I love astrology!
