After literally dozens of hours, I'm finally ready to reveal the new PHOTO GALLERY.
Please keep in mind that the features you see are what we get. There aren't other ways to arrange things. Best way to figure it out is to use it!! You cannot break anything. I've tried.
just click the Gallery link in the upper right of the forums:
Each user can have their own personal Photo Gallery. See the FAQ for more info.

At first I couldn't find the link but once I signed in it appeared. This is a nice feature thanks for adding it to our forum. It is also nice to see Rich Eagles paintings have their own section in the gallery.

ANYTHING is possible. How about something just slightly more generic to hold all the pics? ”Specialized Model Ts? I can have as many subsections there as you want including ambulances, dump trucks, depot hacks, etc.
I’m open to any and especially ALL suggestions.

As I understand it.
You can add photos to a related existing category only.
Unless admin creates a new specific category.
Would it be possible to post unrelated photos (no category) in the regular forum ?
Possibly if a "worth while" subject, it could be archived to the gallery later by admins.
Just seeing if anything sticks...

Excellent! The old gallery was severely handicapped by the postage stamp size restriction, so it's wonderful to see the pictures here fill the screen. Very nice. It's too bad some folks set their cameras to take little pictures.

Holy cats! I hope the T rails were stopped against a tie!
Me? I'd start a "Clunkers" section to highlight the clunkers out there, like mine that still happily live!

Pretty much! I’ll organize the Gallery into meaningful headings once we nail down all the categories you fellas want to see. I even put one up for our better halves - Vintage Clothing. I’ve seen how some of you dress. We need all the help we can get!

Hi Jeff, may I suggest four more categories:
1) Agriculture (tractor conversions and other specials)
2) Aftermarket Items (wheels, details etc)
3) Adverts, cards, sundry advertising related. (Not to repeat the documents on the MTFA Encyclopaedia, but rather for pictures/ scans of old joke cards and advertising themes, pictures of Ford sales placards etc).
4) TT truck related (oh I like trucks :-0 )

I went to add photos and see that I don't have permission. I like that you did that because I think that will keep the quality to the gallery photos up so that people will really enjoy them. I did figure out how to make my own gallery photos and added these two.
