Spam removal
Thanks to the administrators for removing a bunch of junk computer service solicitations.
Someone suggested not to complain about it. Report it.
Well head slap, ok. Figured out how & its all gone. The system works. Thanks

Re: Spam removal
Unfortunately no forum is immune from them, they are relentless!
Definitely don't respond to them as that makes more work for the Mods to remove them (at least that's what a few Mod-Friends have told me)
Just click the report button & type "Spam" in the box!
God Bless

Re: Spam removal
Yes, the Catch 22 of this forum is that responding directly to the spam post ("Why are you posting this junk here??") moves it back up to the top, which is what the spammer wants. Best to report it and ignore it. Then eventually it does a "reverse Topsy," i.e. it jes' goes away (thanks to the administrators).

Re: Spam removal
Yes I get that, but, the spammer was keeping up them top by adding to it, 3 of the 4 had no replies.DLodge wrote: ↑Wed Sep 22, 2021 8:22 amYes, the Catch 22 of this forum is that responding directly to the spam post ("Why are you posting this junk here??") moves it back up to the top, which is what the spammer wants. Figured it out. All is well. One less minor annoyance in the world.

Re: Spam removal
Spam removal?
Well Typically it involves pulling a small tab on the corner of the can to peel away a lid. Then a good wack on the other side of the can with it inverted over a plate will prompt the Spam to fall out of the can.
Then the spam is cut into 8 slices and they are placed into a frying pan that first fried bacon until crisp.
The spam is flipped twice in the pan and cooked until browned on both side. It is Again removed with a spatula and laid onto a paper towel on a plate until drained and then placed onto another plate. Once cool it is again removed from the plate in small pieces along with mac and cheese and consumed.

Re: Spam removal
Actually I like to cut mine in the same manner as french fries, cook your favorite flavor of Rice-A-Roni when it gets to the simmer stage lay the spam "fries" in a circular pattern cover and let simmer. Reminds me of my younger days when I first got married and didn't have a pot to P*** in nor a window to throw it out of....how did I survive with my wife still at my side?????
Do it right or do it over, your choice. Drive like everyone is out to get you!

Re: Spam removal
Is it really SPAM if it's in the "Off Topic" section?

Re: Spam removal
Been a long time since I fried Spam! It is really good though. I usually just slice it, add a dab of yellow mustard and a slice of cheese between bread slices. Fast, tasty, and satisfying!
Years ago? I also made fried bologna sandwiches. YUM!

As a boy scot we took it hiking & ate it cold.
Now there are so many new flavors. Try the teriyaki. Very good.
