Re: No T but a K?
Just my 2 bits, I would say a Model K. A Model S Ford is somewhat similar.

Re: No T but a K?
I know that Rob has commented on that model K wreckage before, but I don't recall the details, and lost the bookmark to that previous thread.
I have that racer photo on my computer from several years ago. I don't know that it is or isn't one of the Ford Specials, or just a very nicely done car from the era? The Ford Specials usually did not run a gasoline tank quite that large. However, they were set up to have gasoline tanks and seats reconfigured quickly for differing events. Most of the photos I have identified as Ford Specials do not have the "Ford" name emblazoned on the gasoline tank ends. Again, that in itself would not mean a lot. The placement of the open hole exhausts suggest it would not be one of the large displacement cars. But there was at least one "Special" with an engine displacement actually smaller than the stock engine in order to qualify for smaller car racing classifications. I rarely have seen any information about that one.

About 20% down the page.
It's a neat thread with lots of wrecks.
