Mobil Oil Sign Touch-Up

Post by ivaldes1 » Sat Aug 13, 2022 8:01 pm

I bought this cool Mobil Oil sign at an estate sale. It has scuffs. I was thinking of touching the scuffs up with a marker. I wonder what the color matches are...

I would say, leave it as is. Unless you can PERFECTLY match it, so it is impossible to detect. It is only original once, and like a T with the original paint, it will always be "restored" or "repainted" if you change it.
