current crisis

Post by Oates » Wed Apr 29, 2020 1:41 am

I just want to send greetings to everyone overseas and hope we all find ourselves back on the road soon enjoying our T Fords . Its spring in South Australia but feels more like winter with loads of rain but hey the farmers are happy. Stay safe

Hello there Ian Oates! Welcome to the model T forum. We have a fair number of regulars on here from Australia, and New Zealand. So you should feel right at home here.

I appreciate your comment and sentiment, but I question your statement that it's spring in South Australia. To the best of my knowledge spring in South Australia occurs in September/October/November. It is fall there now.

I’m not sure about South Australia but it’s definitely autumn here in New South Wales.

I hear that second to Antarctica south Australia is the safest place on earth at present with no new cases for a while now. Great effect staying home
The rest of the world has a long road ahead of them yet.
We are not far behind you in NSW.

Yes Henry you are correct it is Autumn downunder and I must be under the effects of incarceration or maybe the fumes from brass polishing or even swap meet withdrawal ,I even got so bored I painted the front fence last week, and to add to the irony petrol here is 73c a litre the lowest for 20 years but we are supposed to stay home.

Ian,
The best thing about autumn is is that summer is on its way again although six months away. Less I hope.....N. ;)
