Larger headlight fork
Anyone have a source for headlight forks that have an approximate 9-3/4” c-c of forks ?
The standard T size is 7-1/2”.
Need a pair for a set of Corbin lights.

Re: Larger headlight fork
Cadillac forks (1913?) are very close but the fork mount is also offset to the right or left with a steering? arm just under the fork.
Might be a brand to consider.
I think I know where those lamps are going.

Re: Larger headlight fork
Thanks for the suggestion. Found a pair posted on the AACA forum in 2017 (!) for a Cadi. He Still had them !
A little tweaking and they will be a perfect fit. Just waiting on a casting for the frame to mount them. Also waiting on a pair of those electric conversions from Snyder’s.
Thanks again !

Re: Larger headlight fork
Hubba hubba, that's looking great!
Around 30 years ago a couple young fellas pulled into the yard wondering if I had any old car radiators or brass I'd like to sell.
I glanced at the load in their pickup, grabbed a couple old GM rads and told them I'd trade for that light. They happily agreed!
Fast forward to a couple years ago, I asked here what year that old Cadillac headlamp was from and got the 1913 answer.
Monetary value? Not much, didn't care and now by chance that old headlamp has helped someone. That's cool!
Glad I didn't keep my fingers quiet.
Thank you for showing the why they're offset. Duh Duane, to help clear the radiator...
Betcha you can guess the next picture I'm achin' for...

I think they look great! The size and scale fit very well! A really great looking truck! All that hay in the background is a lot of work too! I have never found a cool way to put it up! We mostly use round bales for the wife's two horses! Only did fifty eight square this year, on the third cutting. Merry Christmas!

Re: Larger headlight fork
Thx. We round bale our bahia for cattle, but bring good alfalfa from up north for the horses. Had to elevate it in racks to keep working room available for the toys ! (Priorities) Keeping in line with this forum, its all transported by a Ford. Have fun in the cold/snow !Billdizer,Spencer In wrote: ↑Mon Dec 21, 2020 8:05 pmI think they look great!
