Not Ford men !

Post by Rich Bingham » Fri Jan 08, 2021 11:31 am

Here's a fun picture. Not Fords (not Russia either :D ) probably mid-teens ?
Can anyone identify the cars in their "stable" ?

W. S. Jenkins & Sons established the Moscow Livery Stable, made the transition into the motor age and remained in business. I imagine there were many that did as well.

All I can do is guess. The one at far right is an Overland with the angled front springs.

When did I do that?

The one at left may be a Dodge.

Thanks Rich. I wish the first photo had been better. Funny, no one seems interested in identifying the breed of horses in the second photo.
(I think the big drafter is a Belgian 😉)

A 1902 Percheron on the left and two 1889 Nags in front of the stable doors 😂
When in trouble, do not fear, blame the second engineer ! 8-)
