I've seen conflicting reports about what became of Ford's first driveable automobile, the Quadricycle. Most sources say it was lost, and Henry Ford built a reproduction for his museum. I'm reading a fairly recent book that says he initially sold it for $200 to raise money, but he bought it back a few years later for $60. The book is: I Invented the Modern Age: The Rise of Henry Ford, by Richard Snow 2014.
Can we assume it's more accurate because it's more recent?

Re: Henry Ford's quadricycle
I believe the original is in the Henry Ford Museum. He did sell it and then re-acquire it later.
The Early Ford Registry has a program where the plans are available to the members. There are a few reproductions that have been built over the years.

Re: Henry Ford's quadricycle
The confusion comes from Henry's dabbling in the frozen snack
market. His original Fudgesicle was eaten and never recovered.
