Improving dirty clear edge guard on a Toyota?

Post by ivaldes1 » Sat Mar 06, 2021 12:15 am

Hi I am seeking advice on how to clean these. I bought my used Toyota Sienna a few years ago. It has these clear probably plastic door edge guards that are dirty under the plastic. I would like to clean them for a special occasion. Is there a way? Should I just take them off and start over? If so what is a replacement? Thanks!

They look like something I've seen for sale at auto parts stores. Me, I'd just take them off and replace them. Probably with chrome or colored ones rather than clear.

It needs to be peeled off and replaced. Replace with 3M clear door edge guard. Plenty of videos on how to apply on YouTube.
