It looks like an NRS front end.

I zoomed in, pretty sure it is a model N. I couldn't see running boards. It also may have a broken front spring. It appears to be well used, and maybe a bit beat with a few added doodads. But I like it!

Thanks for the enhancements Mark. That really helps ! Certainly looks like the good Doc's gas buggy has some pretty severe suspension issues !! :lol:

I would agree with Wayne and Herb. I have looked at many of these but am always surprised at the designations. This shows some I picked off the web. The ones at left were called Ns and the ones at right were called Rs. I would have guessed the red one at right was an S.

My thoughts were that the Ns had no running board. Rs did and Ss had the slash apron and cowl. There must be other factors other than those generalizations and even those who post the photos may be in error.
At any rate, the water pump in the radiator that the crank runs through are typical of all three. Your photo car definitely has that. The radiator shape and front axle match also.
It is a lovely photo of a happy guy in his spacious yard.
