Auto identification

Post by WayneJ » Sun Jun 27, 2021 6:11 am

BACK YARD BROWN DEER.jpg
I would like to identify the auto in the lower right hand corner of this photo. I know there isn't much to go on, but I am hoping the hood ornament is enough of a clue. Thanks.

The car has free standing headlights, like a 1937 or so. I was wondering Terraplane or Studebaker, as possibilities.

Photo has free standing headlights and that ornament looks to be mounted on the radiator cap. Late thirties for sure.

Stude and Terraplane seem closest, but not exact. ?? Maybe Hupmobile ?

Looks like the young father is cutting the grass by hand in preparation for the proposed workshop for their Model T Ford.
