Has anyone recently talked to anyone at Bob's Antique Auto Parts in Loves Park, IL? Just saw video of sever flooding there. I normally order my Model T parts though them.
I hope and pray that they haven't been effected. They are nice people to deal with.

Re: Midwest Flooding
I haven't been there during flood season, but my impression of Bob's location is that it's on high enough ground not to be in danger.

Re: Midwest Flooding
I have not seen a post from Tom Van Meeteren on the new forum so I don't know if he made the transition. I do know that the town he lives in was evacuated and is completely cut off by flood waters. That is Valley Nebraska.

This picture of W Dodge rd and the Elkhorn river is maybe 3 or 4 miles south of Valley Nebraska.

Re: Midwest Flooding
Was planning to go to Bob's Last week and he emailed me back. I didn't go because of the weather.
The Rock River is 3 miles from his store - don't know where he lives. Here is a recent. 3/17/19, video of the flooding in Rockford Area. Better put waders on to watch https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nidUeAScEyI

The past is a great place and I don't want to erase it or to regret it, but I don't want to be its prisoner either.
