I AM A ROCKET SCIENTIST WITH A SOLUTION..., I THINK!

Post by Henry K. Lee » Thu Nov 18, 2021 7:00 am

Well, finally have a solution in getting an electric vehicle coast to coast with out stopping except to pee and put more diesel fuel in. No stopping for 12 hours to recharge every 300 miles. Haul behind independent power station! Damn I am going to be rich! It hauls 25 gallons of diesel, extension cords, burns 1 gallon per hour! Going coast to coast with the electric golf cart first!

And since I will be gone for awhile, and will let the power get cut off, can re-power up the house when I get home!

Your solution is going to cut into the coal fired electric vehicle market.

Why not embed the electric transmission lines in the highway, and move the vehicles by induced power like a solonoid? You could even control their speed and spacing that way. Then use a small motor in the vehicle to get off the ramp and travel around the area when off the freeway?

Sounds like something Nicola Tesla would have come up with, after all, he was working on atmospheric transmission of electricity. :o
Saw a post on Facebook, electric car sitting along road with dead batteries. Using a portable generator to charge them. Maybe that would be where the money is, on call mobile recharging. Like AAA if you run out of gas. :D
I know the voices aren't real but damn they have some good ideas!

HUUUUUUUUUUGE losses with electric highway schemes. A proper renewable power source for a vehicle consists of a matched pair of good mules. For home lighting, we'll hook up all the stationary exersize bikes to the grid and put Richard Simmons back on TV!

Does that #3 on your cart resemble the "Real Deal"? Coast to coast would cost less than a day of time! 8-)

The secret neobdnium-cabbage electrocell developed in a secret Swedish laboratory but bought up by Exxon and kept secret has been found and will soon be released by Elon and we'll all soon have electric flying cars in our garages that will be charged automatically by a single tiny solar cell. Each car will have multi-function big screen/windshield infotainment system with information and movies and hints on where to shop and where to eat and a keypad to order hot gourmet meals delivered right to the car via autopilot drones as you are flying to Las Vegas or Rome or Timbuktu! No tipping! No crowded airports! Multi-mode programmable autopilot with sleep/snooze settings for use over New Jersey will be an available option. You will have perfect climate control and mood settings and interactive gaming and so much more that you will never want to leave your car! Your car will have a remote control app for your mobile device so that you can summon it right to your location, and it will never need a parking lot, since you can use the remote app to send it up to hover out of sight while you shop or ski or surf or dine in 5 star luxury or whatever, then call it to swoop down and pick you up when you're ready for your next adventure! Nothing down, no trade needed, and E-Z payments!

Why does everyone rain on my parade? Now I am offended!

You did forget to mention about the aerospace darkness penetrator commonly referred to as “Lights”! At least I still have a few up my sleeve!

Hank! Just put a PTO on the golf cart. Run the generator off that. No stopping for fuel.
Oh crap!!! I let the cat out of the bag on that one?

Dallas I will as soon as the flux capacitor returns from repairs and the proton/electron/neutron separator comes back together! Opposites attract? Something is weird here! Same sex electrons?

If you rewind a Volkwagen generator with Xaladgnudium 3 wire it will become superconducting and you slap it on a PTO and you've got perpetual motion. Just stop and act like you're pumping gas every now and then so that the Pentagon agents won't know you're "In the know"! Xaladgnudium 3 is forbidden outside of Area 54. Lights? There's an app for that....

Thanks Pat for the free "TOP SECRET" info I just paid $10,000.00 for by a Russian hacker who was going to rat me out!

Is this the same scenario as the Tesla owner at the gas pumps in California attempting to pump gas on YouTube? Asking for a friend!

It might be... probably the same guy who pumped gas into the crankcase on his new Porsche 911.

I told my friend that he needs to put one of those generators in the "frunk" of the F150 Lightning that he intends to buy. That should increase his range.

We used to have a Model T Woody in our club on which the owner had installed a solar collector. He claimed it charged his battery.

All the buggies around here have solar panels. And most houses.

I believe Northern Tool and others have ready made solar charges that can be used to maintain batteries on boats, tractors, and vehicles. They'll work as a maintainer-trickle charger if the application sits out in the sun a lot. I think they're available in 6, 8, ,12, 24 volts. As the charging capacity goes up, the size and price goes up. I wouldn't mind having a garage roof mounted full size solar panel connected to an efficient 120 VAC inverter which could be used to power assorted battery chargers and maintainers. As for mounting one on a vehicle, I don't think it's practical to mount one large enough to replace a generator/alternator on a vehicle that sees much use.

Henry,
You might consider helper springs and a few spare tires for that trailer befriending out.

Once we're rid of the CO2 monster, even riding mower tires will go 100,000 miles with no flats! Of course, riding mowers will be fully self-driving and grass will never need watering! We'll all have 0-calorie steak and gluten-free potatoes and you'll never have to clip your toenails!!! A tiny solar powered chip embedded in the tip of your nose by experts will project hologrammatic 3-D entertainment and "news" that will be indistinguishable from so-called "reality"! Your whole life experience will be like living in the middle of a super IMax theater and you can watch the latest BatMan anywhere! Alexa! Beer and wings, stat!!!
