Stearns-Knight ?!?
A Boise, Idaho dealership acquired the Stearns-Knight agency in 1916. No date on this photo, I'm thinking it's later than 1916 ? I've never seen one "in the flesh". Comments ? No doubt it ran the Knight sleeve-valve engine.

Re: Stearns-Knight ?!?
I believe that any vehicle that included "Knight" in the name had the sleeve valve engine. Both Stearns and Willys offered the Knight patent engine design, and there may have been others.

Re: Stearns-Knight ?!?
That's a nice picture of them. I don't know my Stearns-Knight's very well but I believe the dealer's plates are 1915. 1916 was black on cream. It would photograph a little darker I believe.
When did I do that?

Re: Stearns-Knight ?!?
Finding a picture of a '16 dealer plate I see the arrangement of the wording was different in 1916 so the plate is 1915.
