Post by otrcman » Fri Apr 19, 2019 6:04 pm

My son sent me this link showing an experiment with a product called WD-40 Rust Remover. Anybody else ever heard of this product ?

I watched the video.

I'll bet it's the same as Evaporust or Metal Rescue

I really liked Evaporust until they jacked up the price. It will remove rust without hurting paint or nickel or chrome plating.

I did buy a couple of jugs of Metal Rescue at Menards when it was on sale at a deep discount but I have yet to use it.

The local Orscheln farm supply switched from Evaporust to WD-40, so I have used both. Evaporust works much better.

Go to Amazon for Evaporust. Now much cheaper than HFT.
