Setting the beat on a Howard Miller clock
I have a circa 1995 Howard Miller tall case grandfather clock that has an uneven beat that is very difficult to get right. Does anyone know how to set the beat so that it is an even tick-tock instead of a tick-TOCK. I am unable to adjust it by tweeking the pendulum and it will not adjust automatically by starting the pendulum at the far side of one side or the other, so there must be an adjustment on the movement inside the case. Thank you. Jim Patrick

Hi Scott. Thank you for your troubleshooting email. It did the job and the beat of my clock is even as it should be. Thanks again. Jim Patrick
