To throw the proverbial spanner in the works... We obviously all have some connection with the Ford Model T, but I'm curious, what's your modern vehicle/ daily drive?
I've stayed faithful to American (even though I'm Australian), I used to drive a Tesla Model 3 SR+, now I've got a RAM 2500 Laramie Redback Edition...

I just bought this 2007 Mercedes SL 550 about 2 weeks ago. It will have to live outside as my garage is full with a 1916 Model T coupelet and a 1936 Packard convertible sedan. I just had the exterior of the Mercedes detailed and had a 9 year ceramic coating applied to help protect the paint.

Keith you say Modern like it's a bad thing. I would not tell anyone on this forum that you had a Tesla ( that's like asking what oil to use in your
engine, water pump & distributer) Mitch nice MB,I have never had the luxury of parking my daily driver in the garage. When my wife & I where
dating she asked if she could park her car in the garage & I asked her if it was broken? She has come to accept that now. I gave up the ton & a
half dually crew cab for this little Cheby 1/2 ton, but it gets the job done.

I have a blue oval with 7 stars. Crosstrek Dolores is short and we try cars to see if she can see over the dash. Then we decide on one of them! We both drive it. I also have a 2,003 Ford F150 which I drive if she is out in the other and also use it to pull an open trailer for towing my T's

Even though I have a double garage (half taken up with my Model T, the other half with junk!!), and I also have a 200 square metre (2100 square foot) machinery shed, my RAM still lives outside!!
Even though the Tesla was a great car to own, it proved impractical for my line of work, with farm machinery... I didn't really want a truck that's in everyone's driveway here, like a Mitsubishi Triton or a Nissan Navara, I wanted something that's a bit less common here. So I thought, GO BIG. Had a choice of a Chev, Ford F350 or the RAM. Personally, I think the RAM has the best physical appearance, and that 6.7 litre Cummins is the best diesel engine ever!

Here's my 'modern' it is the same build year as my wife, 1966, and it is my daily driver, runs on propane. Served me very well the last 20 years, just finished the second rebuild of the gearbox and transfer case, last year did an engine rebuild for the third time since i own it.
It still has to earn its way, that means about 15000km (about 10000miles) a year.

My moderns are a 2019 Ford Fusion (Mondeo over seas) Hybrid Titanium I drove for courier work and has 340,000 miles and is now back up to my 2021 Toyota Sienna XLE Hybrid currently with 121,000 miles on it, because the arthritis is starting in the hips. Never thought I would have a CVT let alone the hybrids. I sat in the January 2022 snow shut down on Rt 1 near Quantico and left the fusion on and never worried about running out of gas!
My Minister of Finance has the tow rig, her 2019 Suburban and since she is german I call it "Oma's Panzer" but she will settle for the Fusion to run around town!

Being the frugal type, I drive a 2012 Ford Focus hatchback with the five speed manual. It gets 37 to 40 mpg.

But I do drive a truck occasionally. I love my 1994 Ford F150.

I have a 1988 Mustang 5.0 convertible daily driver (180,000 miles original and unmolested), a 2010 Ram 2500 tow vehicle and a 2006 Ford E250 work van. I don't believe in trading cars very often.

Okay, I'll play...
2008 Ford Escape, 186,000 miles, my daily driver
2014 Ford Explorer, 126,000 miles, my Model T tow vehicle
2017 Ford Edge, 75,000 miles, my wife's car
My daily driver dream car/truck would be a 1965 Ford Pick-up. Most of the ones I see for sale are beat to hell, or way too nice.

I had a 2013 xB i removed the passenger right and rear seats and used for courier work. Had 89 chewey.com boxes in it one time. I loved how the sitting position was chair like. I just needed a better overdrive gear, at 75mph on I-95 it was tach-ing like 1800-2000 rpm. it also had a lot of road noise even after I added sound deadening but I pay the fuel bill so the Fusion Hybrid replaced it.
I liked to stop and take pics like this and send to one of my brothers to make fun of his shallow social media postings.

My daily is a 2011 Mini Cooper Clubman, 63,000 miles. Great for hauling small parts.
My tow vehicle is a 2010 Ford F150 4x4 Lariat with 212,000 miles.
The T's come out on the weekend or pretty evenings. Don't drive them much at night.

2006 ram 3500 4wd w/5.9 Cummins and 6 speed, that I just spent $2800 on for a new clutch and associated parts. And it's not off topic because it's hauled a couple different T's. And a 14 ram promaster 2500 gasser, and it's hauled T parts to make the T go, so it's not off topic either.

My winter car, the beater with a heater, is a 2006 Subaru Forester with the uncommon five speed manual transmission.
My summer daily driver is a 1965 Volvo 122 station wagon (P220).
My driveway is also clogged with a 2003 Ford F250 which is the tow vehicle for my enclosed car trailer and also "performs other duties as assigned ".

I mostly drive the 88 jeep Cherokee XJ. It’s still got the AMC drive train but the first year under Chrysler Co.
I painted it with a paint roller. Black naturally
My other is a 79 Ford F-350 dually with a dump bed. FE powered. It’s former job was a tow truck. Still wearing its front bumper. Now it’s responsible for all my heavy lifting.

Apparently, it may have been a spanner in the works for a couple (I thought) good fellas Mitch.
Perhaps they should contact admin about this frivolous absurdity...
So.... a fella that may actually drive a really old non-Ford (name starts with a D) barks about your request in the OT forum.

Hmmm.
Sheesh, what gives? I'll stay my fingers on my opinions further.

Post on faceplant? Why?
Maw likes her Traverses, she's on her second one. First new '11 got her 248,800 and was still goin'.
Her used '14 is OK. 170,000. Hint: Lots cheaper.
I like my Chevrolet (ack! He typed that dirty word "Chevrolet"!) trucks. Oh yeah, we're in the Off Topic land.
I absolutely adore my half worn out, half rusted out and well decked out '05 Silverado four door. 170,000. The DVD player still works!
The dang leather seat heater doesn't work...Of course, only on my side. Uff da, leather is cold at 20 below. Bose stereo = divine.
On a kinder note, please remember the Chevrolet brothers (he typed it again!) were some SOME of the folks that made the model T Fords go faster.
Oh! And the '06 David Dunbar Lucerne CXL. Wish it were a four by four, then it'd be easier to get in and out of.
All of our brands are great, aren't they? I'm serious.

I'm a devoted Ford fan, and apparently I like old cars. Other than my '23 Touring, I daily drive a 1905 Escape with the V-6 engine, and my garage also houses a 1904 Expedition, which I used to use in my Contracting work, but now only use to pull the T Trailer around or when we go on vacations. Since I moved from New Orleans to Memphis, winter weather has become a real problem. At age 86, I don't like it!! So, when it warms up enough for me to take out the T, I'm sure I'll have to drain it and put in fresh gas. Ditto the Expedition to pull it.
