Bibs

Like some of you guys, I like to wear bibs most of the time. They stay UP! I have bought most on Ebay, and had them brought to Australia by incoming travellers to save postage which is generally more than the cost of the bibs. Thank you Keith G. for the last lot. i even managed to source some USA made old stock Oshkosh, Key and some Roundhouse, but the best fitting for me are Libertys.
So, with a friend from Australia visiting the USA, i was on the lookout for some replacements. The Liberty site is big on US tradition, company heritage, iconic status, blah blah. However, I could not order on line for delivery to an Ohio address. Nor could I solve the problem on-line or by phone. The only number I could find was a toll free number, which was inaccessible for overseas callers.
So back to Ebay, where the story got very interesting. That proudly patriotic Liberty brand came up often. However, the interesting part of the exercise was checking the size labels. My size Liberty bibs were made in Mexico, Viet Nam, China and Russia! Good luck sorting out what new ones may cost under new tariff regime.
