Hello Everyone,
My friends & many of my customers here on the forum know of our battle with my Wife's stage 4 breast cancer that had metastasized to her back, subsequent spine surgery, months of wheelchair time, then walker, cane & rehab. After a year & a half she is back to driving & walking very well & we are WINNING the battle as the original tumor has been shrinking as shown on each 3 month scan!
She loves our hobby, the cruises & shows, so I figured this was the year I get her one of her own! The 57 T-Bird was one of the two she liked the best, the other is a late 50's Desoto Conv in red of course, but that is a little big for her.
I had been hiding this car in my enclosed trailer since just after Thanksgiving & could not wait until Christmas, so I could give it to her! She stays at our "in town" house as she can't drive the long distance from this house to work each day ( I drive back & forth the 100 mile round trip 3 or 4 times per week), so I had the car sitting in front of the house with a big bow on it before she woke up Christmas morning! Between the tears, smiles & laughter....I think she loves it! LOL She drove it around the neighborhood with the bow still on it honking & waving to neighbors like she was in a parade
57 T-Bird 312 4bbl auto. Power Steering, seats & windows. Aftermarket air & front disc brakes. It is a clean Texas car that had been in Ohio for the last two years. Of course since we live in Ohio, I will be storing it with mine until spring. I also have a feeling we will be taking it to Lloydfest IV in '26.:p
God Bless
Bill
