Tight Fit

Kevin made a wood pattern to fit the belly tank - then adapted a Ford Model A frame & running gear to fit ....

The belly tank came out of a 1946 or newer Republic F-84 Thunderjet - you can see the “ fin “ on the outboard wing tank:

This car was not completed until 2018 by the builder.

As shared above - he ran it in New Jersey
in the June 2018 TROG.
