Memorial Day

Post by Hal » Mon May 25, 2020 5:38 am

Let's not forget that the freedoms we enjoy, and so many take for granted, were purchased with the blood of brave service members. Please do not let their sacrifice have been in vain. Our rights and freedoms are precious. Do not squander them.

Freedom is not free...thanks and indebted gratitude to all who died for us to be free.
(Remember them in November again also)

A few facts about Memorial Day that some may have not heard. For instance, 3:00pm today is the official “moment of remembrance” declared by Congress in 2000.

This is the day that means only a long weekend to most but its a day to honor the many fallen heroes of our military that sacrificed all for us to be free. My family has been involved in every conflict since WW1, WW2, Korea, Vietnam (Dad 2 times) all the way to Afghanistan. So i personally have a special respect for our military families who have given so much for us to be free.
