I know these modern cars are not the main focus here but I took advantage of the nice fall day to get a picture of my Victoria. I had it out of the garage so I could re-unite my 11 chassis with the body so it kinda is T related. Art

One of the most beautiful cars of it's time. The wonderful curves of the body seem perfect. Edsel was a genius.

Probably 40 or so years ago,in my wanderings I would go through and to Rio Grande City, Texas, which is on Texas 83 to the South and West of Laredo. Believe me,you had to have business there or be lost, to ever go there, it was just one of the many old dusty, dried up towns we have/had in that part of the world. I saw many times there a 4 door version of this car, it was pristine, and parked in someone's yard. I asked about it a few times, they had no interest in the car nor of selling it. It finally disappeared, some lucky fellow got a good car, wish it had been me.

Funny to see what looks like a nice, and relatively warm day going on there. It has been
snowing here all morning and I have some siding to get up on the north gable before winter.
Snow and high work locations aren't my favorite.

I find it odd how out of step I am with most people's view of 1930's cars. I find the forward
leaning, rounded back ends unappealing. As the 30's wore on, the belt lines kept making the
windows smaller and smaller. Edsel may have been genius, but I like his pre-streamlined ideas
best. Most people think 30's cars are the epitome of sleek and elegant. I guess my die was
cast in the open and big glass cars of the early era, and later the late 50's and 60's cars.

The Victoria is a pretty special car, as Model A's go. Great photo of it out there in the autumn
colors. 👍

Victoria's are the prettiest of the A's to me as well, and I'm usually more partial to the 28/29 models. I have to make an exception for the Victoria though. Sexy lines on those things.

For me, the '34 ford cars were the probably the most beautiful cars that Ford ever made, especially, the Victoria. JMHO Dave

Interesting ... I always like hearing why people have other opinions.

Is it just the bulged out back body area that you find attractive ? Or are there other body
differences ? (I am no Model A expert)

Yeah, pretty much.

What I DON'T like about them is they don't have a visor over the windshield. It kinda looks funny up there without one. I think they have interior sun visors like a modern car and that is why there's no metal visor on the outside.

There are interior visors. As a matter fact they mount kind of backwards on the bracket. Art

Beautiful.

Model A's look best in muted colors with black wheels like this. All too often, they're overyly dolled up.

You don't see many of those around these parts.
Nice looking car.
My dad always says he wishes I messed with Model A's instead of T's because he learned to drive in a A pickup.
Just to poke at him I tell him I don't want a hotrod! 4 wheel brakes and 3 speed in the floor and 40 HP  Who needs all that?!
