My son has just moved from the Bay Area of California to near Lewiston Idaho. He has a Corvair Ultravan. This is a small camper built by Chevrolet Corvair. He says it has a 30' wheel base. Do you have anything which can haul a vehicle like that. It is in running condition so will not need to be winched. However it is about 900 miles and not sure to drive it there, just in case it might break down on the long trip. He would like to move it before the end of October while the weather is still free from ice. If you are interested, or can do the job, please contact me by private message and I will get the two of you in touch.

That is not a small camper and the height needs
to be measured from grade to the top of
the rooftop ac unit to determine if it needs
to go on a lowly trailer.
No one I know has the equipment to transport this:

Thank you. He will try driving it 300 miles a day and taking 3 days. It runs fine only problem is that Auto Zone doesn't carry parts and most repair shops are not familiar either. He does his own work to keep it and two other regular size Corvairs going.
Thanks, Norm
Thanks, Norm

He should take the scenic route and drive it at 45 mph.
Any faster than that and he is rolling the dice.

He drove it for 3 days and slept at rest stops in the Ultravan. Made it just fine. Now they are enjoying their first cold and icy winter. They have lived on the California coast all their lives, so none of them has had to live in snow and ice except for occasional trips to the mountains for a day or may be overnight.
