Let's start the new year off right

Post by TFan » Thu Jan 01, 2026 5:06 pm

Hank and I took My 26 RPU for our annual New Years Day ride. It was about a balmy 26* but with the top floorboard out it was kinda cozy. The photo's are along the shores of frozen Sandusky Bay. The last pic shows the coal docks in the background where freighters come into port to load up with coal most of the year. The first two you can see the Marblehead peninsula in the far background. Happy New Year, Jim

Jim,
Beautiful pictures. Thanks for sharing them. I bet Hank (the 4 leg companion) enjoyed the drive as much as you did. This afternoon was nice with the sun shining and little wind. A perfect day with fresh snow.
Your touring buddy,
Art Mirtes

Nice pics! neat to see the tree propped up in the bed. It was in the 30's here but supposed to be 72º today. You have your wreath on the radiator but I had to compromise.
