On Monday around 11:00 am - the 1904 Model B caught on a compression stroke and ran on all four cylinders.
Kim Dobbins is on the left and Don Skille on the right.
They were the principal parties responsible over the past year that made this happen.
KD has received no money for his labor on this endeavor.
Don Skille was instrumental in helping KD.
This is The Model T Family Personified.
We Help Each Other.
I am so very proud of my friend KD.

I think it was that shirt Kim has on that made all the difference. Gave the car some inspiration.

Kim, thank you for your work, and for sharing. The Model B is a major part of Fords development. It’s the first production four cylinder for the company, and first to use Fords patented three point torque tube driveline.
A few points that also intrigue me. The first B sold in October 1904, and they were a 1905 model. The B sold very well, with over 400 cars sold in 1905 (of 500 total).
In the spring of 1905, the Ford Board of Directors agreed to lower the retail price of two Ford models, because dealers were complaining of poor sales. The two models that were reduced? Models C and F. The B wasn’t the problem.
Thanks again guys.

I haven't been here for ages but saw this video at the aaca forum.
As I watched I realized that is Don Skille helping out.
Don and his brother were at my place here in central Wisconsin in 2013.
Don is unforgettable because he's just a REALLY nice guy.
At any rate you might enjoy this little tidbit too in which Don gets a mention as well.......

That video of the kids receiving the car body and giving credit to all those who helped along the way is exactly why I continue with my interest in the model T part of the collector car hobby. I started in the car hobby in 1983 with a 1955 Chevy Nomad power pack car. Like many people here I have had many cars since but I continue to find the most help and some best people when I am involved with anything Model T. Congratulations on getting the Modle B up and running and thanks sharing the video for all to see and learn from.
Welcome
