Tips on posting on the forum.

Lately, there have been several posts that were unnecessarily re-posted by the same poster. It is not necessary to re-post a thread you posted earlier, with the same title whenever you want to ask another question or respond to someone who answered or responded to your thread. Simply click onto the original post and add to it. Whenever there are multiple posts with the same name, on the same subject, by the same person, it is redundant and will require you to go to all the threads to find the answer that could have been posted in one thread. Jim - I've been guilty of that once in awhile too, but not lately, as I've finally "caught on" to what has happened to me. It seems that if you post something, and IMMEDIATELY after posting, bring the whole thread up to see what your post looks like, or, to see if it actually posted, it might not appear, in which case you re-post. That's the mistake I've made in the past, because it seems like there is a bit of a time lag,....maybe a minute or two, I don't know, before your post appears, and then there's two of them! So I guess what I finally learned is to not look for your new post too soon,.....FWIW,.....harold

I suspect it's a simple error, nothing sinister. I wouldn't worry about it. jb

Push come to shove ask Jeff or Chris to remove it or change the title. The original poster can do that.
