Needs to be beans and molasses. Throw in some sugar, too.

Plug the openings, put some gravel from the driveway in with some water, lacquer thinner, soap and a handful of rusty old square nuts of various sizes, bungee cord it to the back wheel on your 8N and go for a slow drive for an hour or so. It will knock all the crap loose, the inside will be shiny and at least hopefully be clean enough you can solder it with a torch without worrying about it blowing up. If you are, run the hose from the wife's vacuum cleaner from the exhaust pipe on the 8N to the inside the tank, let it run for awhile before and while you are soldering. She will never know and you won't blow the tank up. =)

Stan has it. It works every time. A shop vac will remove all the stones when done.

Stan/Jack, will it work with a Jubilee, too, or is that too new? :D

I plugged both holes with dish detergent solution and a few pounds of bbs. Then rolled it around on the lawn. Flushed it out and removed the bbs followed by an alcohol wash and evaporation dry. Beautiful on the inside. I make sure there is always at least half full with non ethanol gas.
