I would like to resurrect this posting. I too am looking for information on the 1912 Commercial Roadster top. I have the sockets and bows but am trying to figure out the rest of the top, not to mention where to get one made.
Also, can anyone tell me the difference between the 1912 Commercial Roadster top and the 1912 Torpedo? I read conflicting things, such as it is the same, or it differs slightly, or it is totally different. That's quite a wide spectrum of possibilities.
Any insight and help is appreciated, now that I have plunged into the Model T Brass Era world!

Greg, having owned both, but not simultaneously, my lame brain tells me the tops for the two are pretty much identical.
Other than that, best I can say is to get ahold of Mike at Classtique. To me, and others, he's the best in the business. I did email you a few days ago to email me back, I did forget to leave you my phone number. Rather than publish it here, email me via my profile link and we can go from there. Otherwise, here's Mike's web address:

Lemme know if you need any other help that maybe I can offer.

Whoops Greg...lame brain can't read. You mentioned 1912 Torpedo, mine is a 1911, but I bet the tops are about the same. Anyway, get ahold of Mike.

Believe the commercial roadster is the 1912 runabout, the lowered body, closed front compartment Torpedo likely used a different top assembly.
This is the T-3800 top assembly drawing for the 1912 runabout.

How would one go about getting a better resolution file of the top drawing?
