Time for a clear-out sale as those coils clearly "don't Spark Joy"

Rumor has it that Buster Keaton repaired coils for Kalamity Dick.
I have seen that old photo somewhere before.

Isn't that a picture of Dennis in Mr Wilson's garage?

Yes, I believe it was K. R. Wilson in this case.

Has Ron Patterson aged that MUCH since I saw him last in 08? Wow.

The magnitude of Ron Patterson's chronographic endowment has become dimensionaly unmanageable.

In one of Buster's movies he's working in a garage and has a Model T engine on one of those hoists that moves on a track. It gets away from him, of course, and bashes a big Pierce Arrow. By the time he's finished the poor old Pierce is pretty well wrecked. I saw this film at a convention of the Pierce Arrow Society, and the friend who was with me commented that it was probably not the best film for that group.

"The Blacksmith" 1922. The model T appears about 7:30 and the Pierce Arrow about 13:00.
One of my favorites.

This is a picture of Ron Patterson working his magic in his shop. Many of us have only spoken with him on the phone so here's putting a face with a name. You are welcome.
