Help with seat cutter
Found some stuff at the scrapyard and need to know what hooks to the cone shaped piece to drive the cutter. It’s some sort of shaft, I’m guessing, can someone post a picture of theirs? Also what are the three holders on the left for? Anybody know the purpose on the block marked Sunnen? Thanks for the help, Bob

Re: Help with seat cutter
You may have already did a search but looking up Sunnen on the net they are still in business and make all types on honing equipment for injectors, etc. for Diesel engines. The 2 long shafts in the top of the picture look very similar to drive extensions we used in a large hammer drill at the shop I used to work in years ago.

Re: Help with seat cutter
Not sure what the 3 are but the next 5 are for cutting pockets for valve seat inserts. The piece in the bottom row, left is for setting the cutters on the pocket cutters. There is a lot more to the setup. Some of those pieces are worth a few bucks. You would need a lot more to make it work then what is there. I had a portable Ko-lee setup that was used for this job, sold it, cost to have a shop do the job or me didn't pencil out.
I know the voices aren't real but damn they have some good ideas!
