Found this Brass Duck on the 2019 Florida winter tour at a flea market. My wife and I thought it would be a cute radiator cap.
So yesterday I tried my hand at brazing this duck to a cap.
I think he turned out ok.

Dennis, that's too cool! Will we get to see it on display at the Luray Swap Meet? Hope it's still happening-will be there if it's at all possible!

Looks authentic to me. I haven't cared for some I see but that one seems wonderful.

Thanks for the comments . I discovered there is a very fine line between to hot ,to cold , to much and not enough when it comes to brazing brass to brass. Fun project during this down time.

Terry as for the Luray Swap Meet we will be deciding on April 15 as to weather it is on or not.

NIce job and it looks great. Just a warning, if the duckie is at all heavy, vibration from running may fatigue crack the radiator neck joint, so be aware.

This duck is hollow and is not as heavy as a motometer.

Cookeville TN Tour- how many saw this radiator cap? Look closely at this radiator cap. ZOOM in...The dog with it's leg hiked is not potty trained. The man in the picture is a good friend, so I blurred his face in the photo. All I can say is "It's a good thing that he had his glasses on!"

His T shirt took most of the hit.
