Is this a TT windshield?

Post by Corvette Guy » Wed Apr 01, 2020 9:12 pm

This windshield and brow came with my TT. I'm not sure if it's right but I'll probably make it work when I build the cab. I'm also not sure what the tinted brow goes to.

Thoughts?

The tinted visor is an after-market accessory. I doubt that either of them were ever on a TT. But that doesn't mean they couldn't be made to work and look good?. TT windshields were almost all flat across the bottom, not curved to follow a stylish cowl. A flat bottomed windshield should be easy to get and would likely look better.

The tinted visor is very cool. Just know that it won't have laminated safety glass in it, and while trailering at highway speeds, there may be a real risk of it shattering. If you use it, you should really consider replacing the glass.
