Interesting design. I wonder how well it really worked? Such a large "sled" up front, cleated rear wheels, and mid-ship outrigger skis could easily result in loss of rear traction in a bad place?
Appears to be a '15/'16 T in there?

Thanks Peter, that's a clearer picture with a better description.

It looks like the photo was taken by a German press/travel photographer named Walter Gircke.
