Square Head Bolt ID

In among the T nuts and bolts I am sorting are a number of square headed bolts that I am not sure of. 1/2 inch diameter and head is 3/4 inch each side.

Any ideas?

Adrian, I have never seen such a bolt in any T model I have worked on. I note your other post and attempts to bring some order into your T hardware hoard. My answer was to sort them into two gallon half chemical drum tubs. One is for 3/8" bolts, and it is nearly full, second has " larger" ones, a third has "long ones" like head bolts and tailshaft bearing bolts, and a fourth has "specials" like clutch drum set screws, 26-7 driven plate bolts. This tub also has tins of 5/16" bolts and various body bolts. There is some overlap of course. Which tub has the long 3/8" generator/timing cover spring
mounting bolt? The 3/8" rod bolts are in the specials bin.
It helps keep some sort of order, without creating multiple bins and finding a way to store them.
Now I have an extra larger tub. It gets all the stuff I cant be bothered sorting or walking out to the shelves. That tub goes to swapmeets, and each piece is 10 cents. Lots of people find what they want in there.

Thanks Allan - you may be right but I kinda need something to do in these long "isolated" days... (not really, but good to have a distraction from the other work list items!)

The parts came from a long time T enthusiast, who also liked Ford V8s, so this could be a V8 bolt? Probably will never know but he has a few in the box with the T stuff.
